"This house was built by Welch immigrant, Edward Parry, who had crossed the plains with the Stevens hand-cart company and had been sent to Cedar City to assist the efforts of the Deseret Iron Company. A fine, two-story structure, the home had a fireplace in every room. When Edward died, his daughter, Winifred Jamona, and her husband, Thomas Roy Urie, inherited the house." The site of this home is now the parking lot between U&S Motor and Sullivan's cafe.
