Taken in Section 25, T. 36S, R. 17W, facing north west. The highest peak in the picture is Pinon Peak on the forest. The hills in the foreground are typical of this section, that is, scattered pinon pine, cedar, mahogany and considerable sage brush. The foreground of this picture shows rather a rocky top soil, lack of grass and over-grazed sage brush.
