Athletics. No greater satisfaction can come to the student at graduation than to feel, when receiving his diploma, that he has served honestly and well the institution that now honors him. And these feelings are permanent. They will be found among the strongest ties between the school and the individual through life. Always the world rewards for service rendered. Do not always have things done to you and for you. The student who leaves school having only received, rendering nothing, has so weak connections with the school that he is scarcely known even to his classmates. The heroes of Murdock are those who have served her. Her Athletes are among this group. Here's to our athletes, who strike fairly, squarely from the shoulder. Win or lose, they do their best.
