The Brown and BLue All honor, flag of Murdock! We loved your colors true, When yet our school was but a child -- The B.B.B.Y.U. We loved to see your waving, On every Festal day, And shouted loud your praises As you floated grand and gay! And when to fullere stature grown We took our present name; You still were there to cheer us, And lead us on to fame. You've shared our every victory In lessons and in games; And when our hearts would falter, You spoke of noble aims. Then hail to Murdock's banner! Fling wide its colors high! The Brown of dear old Mother Earth; The Blue of the vaulted sky; As these were here united, So may our works of love, Unite with richest blessing From the Heavenly courts above. Mrs. S. C. Maeser.
