I. Our school is an emblem of glory, Its standard floats high on the breeze; Let our deed e'er be worth of story That shall live where the whole world sees. Chorus -- Then shout and sing, let our voices ring, To our school we shall e'er be true; Then shout hurrah for the Beaver Brown, And hurrah for the Loyal Blue. II. We're a band of sincere earnest workers, And we strive, ever strive for the truth. From our ranks we will banish all shirkers; Ever on with the full zeal of youth. III. We'll be firm as the deep-rooted mountains, Be as pure as the snow--covered peaks; We'll drink deper from wisdom's pure fountains, And listen wheile brave knowledge speaks. I. We Murdocks come with thanks and blessings, For the work we have to do, For we love our school, the dear old Murdock, And our flag, the brown and blue. Our teachers for their words of counsel And their patinet guiding care -- For all the bounteous gifts of Heaven Let our praises fill the air. Chorus -- Then let us all press on til all our work is done. Success will surely crown our efforts, For we'll keep on keeping on. II. With motives pure and high ideals, May we meet life's problems great. With courage strong and faith undaunted May we burst the bonds of fate. With boundless love and hearts unselfish, May we work from day to day And taste the joys which honest labor Ever finds along its way.
