A photograph of A.G. Jewkes in character and costume for the Shakespearean play, Merchant of Venice, in which he played the part of Bassanio and as such, he signed this photograph--"Respectfully Bassanio, A.G.J." This play was presented by the Utah Shakespearean Society in the Salt Lake Theater. He also starred as the lead in A Midsummer's Night Dream at the Salt Lake Theater. He was an actor in Manti before moving with his family to Castle Valley and settling in Orangeville. He designed the Orangeville Social Hall which acted as a theater.
