The old Leonard threshing machine is from Adeline Wakefield's scrapbook. This threshing machine was the first in Emery County. The power to run the machine that threshed the grain was made from horses turning a big wheel. Adeline wrote:"Threshing time was always a big event in the lives of us kids. There was always lots of excitement, plenty of food, what more could you ask for?" At each house the thresher went to, huge meals were prepared and served to everyone helping.
