Photograph of George W. Decker. Inscription on back reads: Taken in Denver in July 1895: had been running the Rockies from east of New Harmony clear around to Leadville, Colorado. June and July swam five horses across Colorado River at Dandy Crossing. At Hanksville ran into a bunch of fine looking fellows, all out-laws, rendezvouing at Henry Mountains, some of them my relatives. Used Trachnte Canyon as a "get-a-way" trail. Note: above is handwriting of George W. Decker. This is his picture, taken in Denver the month before I was born, [signed] Ivan Decker
