Leigh a n d Richard Dettamanti advised t h e Council t h a t they felt the majority of t h e owners in the new section of t h e Cemetery were unhappy with t h e flat headstone ordinance. They p r e s e n t e d a petition with 65 s i g n a t u r e s opposing t h e ordinance. After discussion. t h e ordinance was affirmed. Councilman Slack moved t h a t the City call for bids to demolish t h e old City Swimming Pool (100 East a n d 250 North on City P a r k ) . Unanimous.
