March 7. 1968.. .Mayor Whetten reported on a meeting with t h e State Road Commission relative to 'On' and 'Off' ramps to Cedar City and their signing and lighting. He s t a t e d that he felt all t h r e e interchanges should be lighted and overhead signs should be installed a t t h e North and South interchanges. The bypass will have a serious economic impact on t h e City. Council will r e q u e s t changes. Mayor reported t h a t Wesley Soulier, of U. P . Railroad-Landscape Agent, and LaMar Snyder had o r d e r e d and planted additional t r e e s a t t h e Golf Course. Cost of t h e trees--$600.
