Louis Burrascano wants a fence around his Cemetery Lot. City denied t h e r e q u e s t . Aug. 4 , 1966.. .Cleo P e t t y , representing t h e Painted Hills Golf Course, s t a t e d t h a t they a r e promoting a n amateur tournament August 27, and asked t h e City to waive t h e green fees. Agreed. Aug. 18. 1966.. .Only one bid was received on t h e old Library p r o p e r t y , t h a t being from the State Bank of Southern Utah. Offer in the amount of $35.000. (new Bank s i t e ) Motion to accept was unanimous. Sept. 15, 1966.. . A delegation, consisting of John Beal. J. S . They Prestwich, a n d J . M . Palmer, met with the City. requested t h a t t h e City make another power feasibility s t u d y a n d determine the s t a t u s of Glen Canyon power. Cedar should a c t now before all of t h e Glen Canyon power is allocated. W . W . Council discussed making a oneway s t r e e t on College Avenue from Main S t r e e t to 300 West. Regarding t h e sale of Bicycle licenses, only 110 have been sold in 1966. The City should enforce t h e ordinance o r rescind it. Council decided t o forget bicycle licenses f o r 1967 and omit this ordinance. The Power Board recommends t h a t no additional s t u d y be made on the power situation. If an additional s t u d y is made i t will have to be for t h e purpose of going to Municipal Power. Oct. 20, 1966.. . B r e n t Orchard will take over t h e Golf Course Pro. job for the City on March 1. 1967. Nov. 3 , 1966 ...blayor Whetten transacted a lease with the Livestock Association f o r t h e u s e of the Livestock B a r n , f o r storage of p a r t of t h e P a r r y Collection until August 1967-r e n t f r e e . Plans a r e for t h e collection to be a t t h e State P a r k a n d Museum Buildings, when t h e State Legislature approves.
