Aug. 15, 1935 ...M r . Val Johnson, Al Cline, a n d Mont Hunter from t h e Lion's Club met a n d recommended t h a t the City e r e c t semaphores a t t h e intersection of Center a n d Main, First North a n d Main, a n d a t Center a n d T h i r d West, n e a r t h e Public School. No action taken. Sept 5 , 1935.. .Mr. C. G . P a r r y met with t h e Council a n d reported that some of his neighbors a r e keeping animals in a n overcrowded condition; a n d , from s u c h , h e i s being greatly annoyed by t h e offensive odors a n d he considers the condition very unsanitary and detrimental to the neighborhood.
