B e i t ordained by t h e City Council of Cedar City t h a t they shall meet on t h e first Saturday in each month a t ten o'clock a . m . , a t such a place a s they shall appoint a t any time, a n d transact s u c h business t h a t may be presented before them. March 6, 1855. . .An Ordinance regulating elections in Cedar City: Sec. 1.. .Be i t ordained by the City Council o i Cedar City t h a t t h e Mayor, o r in case of his absence t h e senior Alderman, shall be J u d g e of t h e Election, who shall appoint a Clerk a n d f u r n i s h t h e necessary stationery a n d a ballot box. Sec. 2 . . .Each elector shall provide himself with a vote with t h e names of t h e persons he wishes elected a n d t h e office he would have them to fill a n d p r e s e n t i t neatly folded to the Judge of t h e Election, who shall number a n d deposit i t in the ballot box. The Clerk shall then write t h e name of t h e elector opposite t h e number of his vote.
