Council met again at 8:00 p.m. The matter of constructing a tourist camping place in t h e proposed Puhlic Park came u p for discussion, and i t was moved b y Councilman Pace t h a t t h e Committee on S t r e e t s get a n estimate of t h e cost of lattice houses and other work a n d submit same t o Council. Discussed tearing down City Hall a n d the purchase of a piece of ground in t h e business district upon which to construct a Tool and Cell House. Mayor authorized to a r r a n g e for a suitable piece of ground. May 6. 1920.. . R . S . Gardner, City Engineer, reported t h a t t h e contract of installing the new water system was completed a n d t h a t t h e contractors were entitled to their full p a y . William Pendleton of t h e B.A. C. came in with t h e r e p o r t on t h e success made in securing t h e r i g h t to widen and improve College Avenue, a n d s t a t e d t h a t p a r t of t h e p r o p e r t y owners along said s t r e e t had signed t o give t h e i r land f r e e , o t h e r s would not. He s u g g e s t e d t h e ground be secured b y condemnation o r some other method. Referred to Committee a n d City Attorney. June 8. 1920.. .Motion by Councilman Pace t h a t t h e City cooperate with, the State Board of Health in i t s campaign against Typhoid. Carried. The City Engineer submitted an estimate on a Sewage System for Main S t r e e t . J u n e 1 5 , 1920.. .An ordinance creating Sewer District # I , and designating t h e boundaries thereof, was r e a d . The question of sprinkling Main Street was r e f e r r e d to t h e Mayor for action. J u n e 2 4 , 1920.. .Supervisor of S t r e e t s was directed t o employ someone to destroy some v e r y noxious weeds t h a t were getting a s t a r t in t h e City. July 1. 1920.. .Councilman U.
