A petition of the Playground Committee, asking that the east half of the City Park be s e t apart a s a playground, was discussed. Attorney Foster asked the Council to defray $100 of the expense of the City Marshal in the suit brought against him for false imprisonment. Motion Councilman Dalley that an appropriation be made to cover said amount. Carried. Jan. 5 , 1920.. .Mayor Carry expressed himself upon leaving office.
