Moved by Councilman Foster t h a t those ordinances designating certain offenses a s misdemeanors be r e f e r r e d to the Judiciary Committee; they t o confer with the City Attorney a s t o the prescribing of penalties for same. Carried. On motion, t h e City Recorder was instructed to procure Pass Books and e n t e r therein t h e various Standing Committees for the members. Moved by Councilman Jones that t h e Finance Committee take up t h e matter of the investment of t h e Sinking Fund. Carried. Moved t h a t t h e matter of readjusting t h e Poundkeeper's fees be r e f e r r e d to the Judiciary Committee. Carried. Moved that the matter of selling ice off t h e City's settling ponds be referred t o Committee on Irrigation and Waterworks. Carried. Meeting adjourned sine die. Motion of Councilman Jones and Foster t h a t t h e City will install 40132 cp lights and pay $30 p e r month for t h e f i r s t month and $15 p e r month for same t h e r e a f t e r . Carried On motion, t h e City Marshal was i n s t r u c t e d to keep t h e s t r e e t s clear of crowds of loafers who congregate around business houses.
