Fri. Nov. 24, 1899: Ther. cool., Wea. very thin clouds. Father & I came out over the Big Bend one year ago to day in a snow storm. plowed and sowed a little more rye and worked on the fence some more today. Saturday 25: Ther. cold., Wea. light clouds drug timber, sowed more wheat and made ditch at north east corner of field. We now have in about 1 ½ acre of wheat and 1 acre of rye. Sunday 26: Ther. pleasant, Wea. few thin clouds. We went to L. Meadow and got some hay, S.K. Larson came up and got his bake oven today.
