Tuesday 2: Ther. 10-30 am. 48º., Wea. clouds going s. J.A. Winder, J.R. Crawford & I started for the ranch with 51 head of cattle. I went to Rockville and got a jumper and some sugar. We camped at Sunesberg. Wednesday 3: Ther. cold am. noon warmer. Wea. light clouds We nooned on top of the mountain. I drove the cattle from D. Lemnorons’s ranch to Poverty flat, while the two Johns went back and got a calf that we had lost.
