Mon. Mar. 20, 1899: Ther. 8 am. cool. Wea. cloudy 9-45 am. commenced to snow and kept it up 3 hours melting nearly as fast as it fell. We plowed near the bars this after noon. Tuesday 21: Ther. cool. Wea. light clouds, breeze. We plowed part of the day near the bars, and at the upper end of field the rest of the day. Wednesday 22: Ther. pleasant, Wea. light clouds. I went to Glendale and got the grist put it in Harvey Moncur’s grainery, camped with Harvey over night.
