20 SOUTHERN BRANCH OF THE
SITE AND BUILDING.
The building is situated on Normal School Hill, near the outskirts of +he city. Part of the campus has been prepared for baseball, basketball, croquet.' and similar games, while other parts have been planted with shade trees. The building is thorougly modern in every respect, being commodious, well lighted, and provided with the best system of heating and of ventilation.
LABORATORIES AND APPARATUS.
The biological laboratory is provided with compound microscopes, dissecting microscopes. accessory instruments and chemical reagents
The physical laboratory is furnished with all necessary apparatus for a course in general physics. A lathe and tools are also provided for use in making the less complex mechanical instruments.
MUSEUM.
Collections are being made of Indian relics. minerals, plants, and animals. The design is to build up a museum that will adequately represent the natural history of Southern Utah.
LIBRARY AND READING ROOM.
The library is furnished with collections of standard works in literature, history, pedagogy, and science, besides miscellaneous books and public documents. Some of the best American magazines and journals, and the leading newspapers of the State are also provided.
All students have free access to these from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. on school days and at such other times as a sufficient number of students may desire to use the library.
