21 STATE NORMAL SCHOOL.
Special Course in Reading. Normal students who desire to prepare themselves as teachers of Reading should take Oral Expression a, b, and c, and Elocution I and V, and half year of Training in Reading.
Special Hours in Manual Training. Normal students who desire to emphasize
manual training in order to qualify themselves to teach it in the public schools,
may elect in addition to their other work such courses in drawing and shop work as
are now given, in the School of Mines as will meet their needs.

The first three years of this course are the same as the first three years of the Normal Course.
All courses here lead to the advanced work in the University at Salt Lake City.
The fourth and fifth years of the five year Normal and Kindergarten Courses are given in Salt Lake City.
