Catiline are read and translated with a more careful study of conditional sentences. Work in writing Latin and conversational exercises in Latin are given throughout the year.

MANUAL TRAINING.
MR. LEWIS.
(1) This course is designed for students of both sexes. It will include constructive work relating to subjects of the school curriculum, as well as the mechanical principles of construction, involving the use of many materials and tools and methods of manufacture.
Two hours per week throughout the year.
(2) This course will include scroll sawing, wood turning, joining and general wood work.
Two hours per week throughout the year.
(3) Wood work and an elementary course in blacksmithing. Four hours per week throughout the year.
READING AND ART.
MISS SPENCER.
Oral Expression. The purpose of this course is to develop intelligent readers. The underlying principles of voice building, pronunciation, articulation, etc., will be dwelt upon in regular class work. Beginning with conversational style the reading extends to such expressional forms as truthfully convey both thought and feeling.
Two hours per week throughout the year.
Drawing. The aim of this course is to teach the elementary principles of drawing and coloring to prepare students for the expression work which may be required of them in various other branches of study. Primarily it is sought to cultivate the aesthetic instinct and develop the powers of observation. The course consists of de-
