All students have free access to these from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. on school days and at such other times as a sufficient number of students may desire to use the library.
Chapel exercises will be held at the beginning of each day. Attendance upon these exercises will be optional, but all students are cordially invited to be present regularly.
The President and Faculty of the University will co-operate with the instructors of the Branch Normal School in giving a course of public lectures during the winter months.
These lectures will be on various scientific, literary, and philosophical subjects of popular interest, the aim being to give the citizens generally some of the educational advantages of the Normal School.
All students are invited to become members of the “Students’ Society.” This organization aims at the promotion of the literary and general culture that results from practice in public speaking and parliamentary procedure.
The Athletic Association is active not only in promoting games and out of door sports but it is also taking an interest in other phases of physical education.
