2 hours per week throughout the year.
Geology.-This work will be considered under three heads: Dynamical, Structural, and Historical. Dynamical Geology will include the study of the forces which have produced the present earth structure. Under Structural Geology, the structure of the earth as exhibited in canyon, gorge, mine, and dredging will be taken up. Historical Geology will embrace a study of the ancient life forms as shown by their remains. Metalliferous veins, ore deposits, coalbeds, and oil fields will be treated in a general way.
3 hours per week throughout the year.
Physical Geography.-The course treats of the more important facts regarding the form, material, and processes of the earth and the relations which they bear to life in its varied phases.

WOOD-WORK.

Manual Training.-This course is designed especially for those students who expect to teach in the common schools. It will include constructive work relating to the subjects of the school curriculum as well as the mechanical principles of construction, involving the use of many materials and tools and methods of manufacture.
4 hours per week throughout the year.
Carpentry.-This course will include scroll sawing, wood turning, joining, and general carpentry.
4 hours per week during the year.
