Description	Contains the calendar, board of regents, officers and instructors, and committees. It also includes general information such as history, site and building, laboratories and apparatus, museum, library and reading room, physical education, manual training shops, domestic science, domestic art, chapel exercise, student organizations, city government, public lectures, student entertainments, student expenses, scholarship, requirements for admission to the normal course, entrance examinations, registration, credits (which tells of transferability to the University at Salt Lake City), preparatory courses, graduation, alumni association, and the litsic. The courses of study section shows classes taught and the number of recitations per week for the four year normal course, the general high school course, the engineering course, and the literary course. Subjects of instruction gives an overview of what is covered in each course. Photographs show students, teams, extracurricular groups, and buildings. Books and magazines lists newspapers and magazines that are at the service of the students. Farm lectures lists topics to be presented at Utah high schools. A list of graduates preceeds the list of students, which gives student names with city and county and a summary total number of students.

Description	19 verbs, to analyze participial. infinite and prepositional phrases; and to explain and analyze easy sentences, simple, compound and complex. The student's knowledge of the use of capital letters and punctuation marks and his ability to compose good sentences will be tested by a short article to be written at the time of the examination. He must be prepared to read clearly and intelligently any selections in any Fifth Reader. He must be able to spell the words found in the Modern Speller (the book in use in Utah). Physiology and Hygiene. Work equivalent to Krohn's Graded Lessons in Hygiene. The examination will cover in a general way the subjects of digestion, circulation, the muscles and respiration. United States History. There will be required a general knowledge of the Colonial and Revolutionary periods, including the cause of the Revolution and the outline of the most important military campaigns. Among the subjects that should receive careful attention are the Missouri Compromise, the Monroe Doctrine, the Compromise Measure of 1850, the Kansas-Nebraska bill, and causes of the Civil War. The text-book in use in the grades in Utah will give sufficient preparation. ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS. Examinations for entrance will be held at the Branch Normal School in Cedar City, at the opening of the school year. REGISTRATION. At the beginning of each annual session students must register for the work of the whole year. Changes in
