portant military campaigns. Among the subjects that should receive careful attention are the Missouri Compromise, the Monroe Doctrine, the Compromise Measure of 1850, the Kansas/Nebraska bill, and causes of the Civil War. The text-book in use in the grades Utah will give sufficient preparation.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS.
Examinations for entrance will be held at the Branch Normal School in Cedar City, at the opening of the school year.
REGISTRATION.
At the beginning of each annual session students must register for the work of the whole year. Changes in registration will not be allowed except by special permission of the instructors.
In applying for Registration, a student who has previously attended the Normal School must present his registration cards of former years, or a certified copy of them containing a record of his credits for work completed.
A student who is conditioned in any subject must remove the condition within one year; otherwise the subject must be taken again in class.
No student will be allowed to register for more than nineteen hours of class work per week, except by vote of the instructors.
CREDITS.
Students going from the Branch Normal to the University at Salt Lake City to finish their course will receive credits for all the subjects they have already completed. Such students in
