Description	Contains the calendar, board of regents, and officers and instructors. It also includes general information such as history, site and building, laboratories and apparatus, museum, library and reading room, physical education, manual training shops, domestic science, chapel exercises, student organizations, city government, public lectures, student entertainments, student expenses, scholarship, requirements for admission to the normal course, entrance examinations, registration, credits (which tells of transferability to the University at Salt Lake City), and preparatory courses. The courses of study section shows classes taught and the number of recitations per week for the four year normal course, the general high school course, the engineering course, and the literary course. Photographs show students, classes, teams, extracurricular groups, and buildings. Subjects of instruction gives an overview of what is covered in each course. Books and magazines lists newspapers and magazines that are at the service of the students. A list of graduates preceeds the list of students, which gives student names with city and county and a summary total number of students.

Description	12 SOUTHERN BRANCH. LIBRARY AND READING ROOM. The library consists of more than 3,500 volumes of standard works in literature, history, pedagogy, science, commerce, and business law, besides miscellaneous books and public documents. The best American magazines and journals, and the leading newspapers of the state are also provided. PHYSICAL EDUCATION. Recognizing the importances of the care and culture of the human body, the school has made provision for training in physical culture work for all students. The aim of this department is to keep in good form the bodies of the students already healthy and strong, and to correct any defects in the bodies of students having injurious habits or tendencies. To accomplish these results, proper gymnasium exercises and out-of-door games under the direction of a well-qualified instructor are given. The school is well provided with an excellent gymnasium, well equipped with modern apparatus, shower baths, and lockers. In connection with the gymnasium work, out-of-door sports, basket ball, base ball, tennis, track and field work will be given as an encouragement to students to take part in contests with other schools. The school took second place in the State Track and Field Meet on the University campus May 22, 1909. MANUAL TRAINING SHOPS. A separate building has been erected for the work in Manual Training.
