Three Score and Ten in Retrospect
his grandson Douglas R. McKay's testimonial, before departure to the Uruguayan Mission. Working with young men to prepare them for missions, and seeing the change in them when they returned, was an experience that brought great pleasure to Bishop Boyden. He called Dr. Richard S. Tanner (who later succeeded him as bishop) to head a special missionary preparation program in the ward.
